Mrs. Virginia M. Joscher

Virginia M. Joscher, 98, of Hardy died Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was a daughter of the late William Girard and Anna Nyhan Girard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Joscher; and her son, Warren Joscher.

Surviving are her children, Lawrence E. Joshher (Debi) of Norman, Oklahoma, Ronald C. Joscher of Hardy, VA, Joseph J. Joscher of New Mexico, Margaret Joscher of Burlingame, Calf., Irene A. Quigley (Brian) of Raleigh, NC and Barbara R. Lee of NYC, NY; grandchildren, Craig Burroughs (Genesis), Beth Lindstedt (Todd), Jonathan Tucci, Jackie Vasquez, Brendan Quigley and Alison Quigley; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm., Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 E. Washington Ave., Vinton. A committal graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Monday, April 8, 2024 at St. Andrew’s Diocesan Cemetery Chapel, 3601 Salem Turnpike, Roanoke, Virginia 24017 with Deacon John Beach officiating.
