Mrs. Norma "Monkey" Gillispie Reynolds

Norma “Monkey” Gillispie Reynolds, 79, of Roanoke passed away Monday, April 8, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Samuel Gillispie and Thelma. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Roger Reynolds; and a sister, Martha Reed.

Surviving are her children, Belinda Williams (Doug) and Dean Reynolds (Shila); special sister-in-law, Kathy Ulrich (BJ); sister and brother, Gail Hudson and Bobby Gillispie (Bonnie); special granddaughter, Amber Mullins (Justin); grandchildren, Lauren and McCoy; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Rogers; boyfriend, Gary Simmons; numerous other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Kelly, Delray, Peaches(aka, Bananas) for all the care they gave to Norma at Star City Nursing Home and Rehab.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 15, 2024 with Pastor Glenn Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery-Vinton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service.
